Alison manages the large cutting garden which provides a sight for sore eyes when in full bloom. Selecting florist’s favourites including Narcissus, Tulips, Allium, Liatris, Antirrhinum. Sweet peas, Achillea, Scabiosa, Eryngium, Sunflowers to name but a few. Alison grows the flowers from seeds in poly tunnels with the help of volunteer gardeners Patrick and Liz. The organic British flowers work beautifully for use in the classes.
Here are some photographs of our beautiful cutting garden, from the early stages through to the late summer.
Volunteer gardeners are always welcome, email for more information.
